Presets for the Line 6 Helix
Requirements/Compatibility: All presets require a Helix Floor, Helix LT or Helix Rack in order to work as intended. (They will also work with Helix Native, but the tone may be altered due to the input impedance of your hardware interface.) Please note the individual preset descriptions for any other requirements, such as third-party IRs or a Variax.
Terms and Conditions: By downloading one of my presets, you agree not to share or sell copies of it. If you sell your Helix, you’re welcome to include the preset with it, so long as you don’t keep a copy of it.

Sounds Like: Neal Schon’s tone on Faithfully off Journey’s Frontiers album. Tweaked using a customized “Superstrat” Variax preset, included with the Helix preset.
Sounds Like: All of Jimmy Page’s guitar parts in Led Zeppelin’s Stairway To Heaven. NOTE: Requires a Line 6 Variax Standard, JTV-69S, or JTV-69, and an impulse response of an acoustic guitar (I recommend Noodler Guitars’ HD28 AKG-C414B-XLS IR, which you can buy here).

Most of the presets in this pack are tweaked for a DiMarzio Area T neck pickup and/or a DiMarzio Virtual Solo bridge pickup. The Don’t Stand So Close To Me preset is tweaked for a JTV Variax or Variax Standard for D standard tuning. This pack replaces the old Zenyatta Ghost preset, which is no longer offered.

9/27/18 UPDATE: I updated this preset for FW2.60 to restore the footswitch colors and to replace the Simple Delay block with the Double Take block for a rhythm guitar sound that’s closer to the multitracked version on the album. The solo setting hasn’t changed.

NOTE: Requires a Line 6 Variax Standard or JTV-69S to switch between electric and acoustic tones, If you don’t have one, you can use the electric tones by switching the Input block to Guitar. Electric tones are tweaked for a DiMarzio Virtual Solo bridge pickup in a Strat-style guitar.
